Bullish

The fading light of evening casts shadows on the ground, As memories of a love once cherished, begin to gather ’round.

The laughter and the kisses, now echo in the breeze, As tears fall down like raindrops, from eyes that ache to see.

The beauty of that love, now lost in the passing years, As time erodes the memories, leaving only silent tears.

But still, the heart beats on, with love that lingers still, A bond that time can never break, nor steal away at will.

For though the love may fade, like the setting sun at night, The embers of its warmth and light, will forever burn bright.
